Job Summary

Position Summary

A full-time on-site opportunity is available for a Mechanic / Machinist to support the repair rebuilding and machining of mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical skills and experience working with industrial components. The position involves working Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM in a structured and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Rebuild and overhaul pumps motors and other mechanical equipment from initial disassembly through final assembly and testing
Operate manual machining equipment including vertical mills and engine lathes to fabricate or restore parts
Clean inspect and evaluate components to determine wear damage and suitability for reuse or replacement
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy and proper tolerances
Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in mechanical rebuilding and machining
Strong proficiency with manual vertical mills and engine lathes
Solid understanding of precision measurement and tolerances
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations
Additional machining or electrical knowledge is a plus
