About the Role:
Established wealth management firm with 20 years of experience and $350M AUM is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor / Lead Planner (Service Advisor) to join our growing advisory team.
This is a client-focused financial planning role (not a cold sales role) supporting 700 households with retirement planning investment analysis tax strategy coordination and holistic wealth management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary advisor contact for assigned clients
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and retirement plans
- Prepare investment portfolio and asset allocation analyses
- Conduct client review meetings and ongoing relationship management
- Analyze retirement income strategies annuities and insurance solutions
- Support tax planning and financial strategy development
- Utilize financial planning software and advanced Excel models
- Collaborate with advisors in a team-based pod structure
- Ensure proactive year-round client communication and service
Required Qualifications:
- Series 65 or Series 66 License (Required)
- 3 years of experience working directly with financial planning clients (Required)
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
- Experience in financial planning retirement planning or wealth management
Preferred Qualifications:
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation or in progress
- Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong knowledge of retirement income planning strategies
- Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills
