Established wealth management firm with 20 years of experience and $350M AUM is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor / Lead Planner (Service Advisor) to join our growing advisory team.
This is a client-focused financial planning role (not a cold sales role) supporting 700 households with retirement planning investment analysis tax strategy coordination and holistic wealth management services.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary advisor contact for assigned clients
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and retirement plans
Prepare investment portfolio and asset allocation analyses
Conduct client review meetings and ongoing relationship management
Analyze retirement income strategies annuities and insurance solutions
Support tax planning and financial strategy development
Utilize financial planning software and advanced Excel models
Collaborate with advisors in a team-based pod structure
Ensure proactive year-round client communication and service
Required Qualifications:
Series 65 or Series 66 License (Required)
3 years of experience working directly with financial planning clients (Required)
Bachelors degree in Finance Business or related field
Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
Experience in financial planning retirement planning or wealth management
Preferred Qualifications:
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation or in progress
Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Strong knowledge of retirement income planning strategies
Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills
