Job Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II with strong Vertical Lathe experience only to support high-precision manufacturing operations. This role is focused on setting up and operating CNC Vertical Lathes ensuring quality production accurate machining and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Lathe machines (required experience only)
Read and interpret blueprints work orders and technical drawings
Load tools fixtures and verify the correct setup before production
Upload/download and execute CNC programs
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Conduct first article and final quality inspections
Maintain accurate production and job data in the ERP system
Ensure proper material handling from staging areas
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain machine readiness
Follow all safety standards and 5S workplace organization practices
Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production goals

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years CNC Machinist experience on Vertical Lathe ONLY
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
Experience with manual inspection tools and quality checks
Ability to edit and interpret CNC programs
Basic math and trigonometry skills
ERP system experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment

Schedule:
Monday Friday 4:00 PM 12:30 AM

Pay Rate:
$28 $36 per hour (based on experience)
