Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager Construction to support a national energy client in Richmond CA. This role focuses on managing complex MEP systems active-site renovations and facilities construction projects within a large national portfolio. You will lead project teams ensure compliance and drive successful delivery across scope schedule budget and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple construction projects
- Oversee full project lifecycle: planning scheduling execution commissioning and closeout
- Manage MEP systems renovations and active facility construction environments
- Control project scope schedule cost risk and quality compliance
- Develop and manage project budgets forecasts and cost estimates
- Coordinate with clients subcontractors engineers and field teams
- Ensure contract compliance safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Resolve project issues and support recovery planning when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation reporting and project controls
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of project management or leadership experience
- 3 years managing construction or facilities projects
- Proven experience with MEP systems and active-site renovations
- Strong background in project controls scheduling and forecasting
- Experience with construction/project management and financial systems
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) Adobe Visio and scheduling tools
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
