Job Summary
Katch Kan has been pro-actively providing sustainable Well Life Cycle Solutions to the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry for over 25 years. When used together the Central Containment System and other Katch Kan Systems increase personnel safety and reduce the environmental impact. Our systems lessen liabilities and costs associated to the cleanup remediation and reclamation phases.

Position Title - Fabricator
Job Description
Plastic products fabricators finishers and inspectors assemble finish and inspect plastic parts and finished products.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Operate machines or equipment or use hand tools to cut shape splice and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies.
- Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies using bonding agents.
- Operate finishing equipment to trim grind or buff plastic products into final form.
- Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards visually or using instruments.
- Job duties as assigned.

Recommended Education & Experience
- High School diploma preferred
- Secondary school education is an asset
- Experience as a laborer
- Experience with carpentry an asset
- On-the-job training is provided

Job Hazards: Katch Kan supplies and enforces the usage of all necessary PPE and safety training required for the role.
- Daily commuting to and from work.
- Regular lifting twisting bending.
- Ergonomics related to working at a station.
- Live warehouse environment with racking and equipment that requires regular inspection.
- Exposure to hazards associated with operating and maintaining machinery and equipment such as moving parts pinch points and electrical hazards.
- Exposure to high noise levels and vibrations generated by machinery and equipment.
- Potential exposure to chemicals and materials used in the manufacturing process which may pose risks such as chemical burns respiratory issues or fire hazards.
