Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities throughout a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior policy violations and/or potential loss prevention concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with security-related support during opening and closing procedures after-hours checks and/or controlled access activities in accordance with site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military law enforcement or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (5) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
