Senior Supply Chain Manager, ATS Network Planning

Looking for your next challenge North America Sort Centers (NASC) are growing and looking for a skilled highly motivated and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager with cross functional experience and a strong delivery record to join the NASC Mid-Term Planning Team (US and Canada). This role will specifically focus on expansion and planning for Amazons B2B initiatives such as Ship With Amazon (SWA) and Amazon Business through the NASC network. The Sort Center network is the critical Middle-Mile solution in the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) group linking Fulfillment Centers to the Last Mile. The experience of our customers is dependent on our ability to efficiently execute new programs and manage volume flow through the middle-mile network.

Supply Chain Managers will interact with all facets of the NASC Network driving innovation consistency increased control uniformity and the development of a more efficient centralized network planning process working with SC Operations and core Transportation teams in North America.

Successful candidates will be self-starters who have experience in operations life cycles including development design implementation enhancement and support along with project/program management experience. A strong bias for action planning skills quantitative analysis and the ability to adopt and deliver new initiatives involving leadership across cross-functional operations technical and business teams is essential. This position will include regular direct communications with senior leaders across the organization.

The SCM must be agile with the ability to quickly adopt and drive strategies plans resources and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals across the organization.






Key job responsibilities
Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity within Amazons various business units.
Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods information or services within the supply chain network.
Balance supply and demand assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks warehouses or logistics operations.
Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency in network capacity.
Define metrics develop program management mechanisms and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity situations.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals.
Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.
Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to network capacity driving performance improvement and efficiency in project delivery.
Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in network capacity focusing on inventory management logistics strategy and transportation optimization.
Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelors degree in Business Operations Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field
- Experience collecting analyzing and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements
- Knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and SQL
- 5 years of program or project management experience with a focus on network capacity.
