Join a high-growth startup as a defining member of the engineering team. You will build modern invisible insurance technology that embeds seamlessly into retail checkouts. Working across the full stack with Ruby on Rails and React youll solve complex integration challenges and help Loxa reach its goal of protecting 30 million customers globally.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails Python and FastAPI to power the core insurance engine.

• Design and implement seamless integration flows for major e-commerce platforms like Shopify BigCommerce and Magento used daily by retailers.

• Manage scalable infrastructure as code using Terraform and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure high reliability and security standards.

The ideal candidate:

• 2 years of commercial experience with strong production-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails or Python and full-stack development principles.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex APIs and third-party integrations ideally within the Shopify ecosystem or transactional environments.

• A high-ownership professional who thrives in fast-paced startup settings and prioritizes clean tested code and proactive problem-solving.
