Job Summary
Description Of Job Duties
Intern will support all functions of the Office of Institutional Communication including but not limited to: writing; editing; research; digital print and web-based communication; graphic design; photography; videography; and other duties as assigned. Project management; help facilitate reviews approvals and workflows; see projects through from start to completion on-time and with an eye for detail. Occasional campus event attendance and support.
Job Qualifications
Must be a full-time undergraduate student (junior or senior level) at North Central College. Must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA and be in good academic standing. Acknowledge personal responsibility for this work commitment and agree to perform duties in a professional and ethical manner. Complete a final internship evaluation and accurate time log to document field hours. Acknowledge that all North Central College rules of conduct and academic honesty apply while on internship. Uphold professional standards in communication time management and conduct. Complete all required academic components (assignments reflection faculty check-ins) as assigned in the CARD 300 course syllabus at faculty member discretion. To receive college credit for the internship the student must receive approval from the Center for Career and Professional Development ( CCPD ) and register for CARD 300 Cardinal Internship. Submit a final report or presentation summarizing contributions and learning outcomes for class to the Center for Career and Professional and Professional Serves and to the donor. Submit a thank-you letter and be open to meeting the donor to discuss internship experiences. Donor stewardship will include highlights of student projects and testimonials.
