As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Abilene TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post requiring a valid drivers license in state and a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter theft trespassing and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas assist with access-related concerns and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations to site management.
• Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing customer and employee activity addressing routine questions and helping to maintain an orderly environment through visible presence and professional interaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military law enforcement or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (4) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
