We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Parts Driver/Parts Counter Associate to support our service and parts departments in South Bend IN. This position is essential for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts assisting customers at the parts counter and fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts promptly and professionally to wholesale and internal customers maintaining high standards of service.
• Verify all orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist customers at the parts counter by:
• Locating and retrieving parts efficiently.
• Processing orders and handling returns with accuracy.
• Collaborating closely with technicians and service advisors to meet urgent parts needs.
• Receive and stock inventory with precision to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe parts department environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and driving regulations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the day.
• Previous experience with automotive parts is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail reliability and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to wholesale and internal customers in a timely and professional manner
• Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
• Assist at the parts counter:
  • Look up and pull parts
  • Process orders and returns
  • Work with technicians and service advisors to meet needs quickly
• Receive and stock inventory accurately
• Keep the parts department clean and organized
• Communicate clearly with team members and customers
• Follow all safety and driving regulations

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
• Automotive parts experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
