Director of Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)

About the Role

The Director of Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) is the mastermind behind how our spaces look feel and perform. Youll shape the design identity across assets translating vision into environments that feel intentional market-relevant and performance-driven. From first concept to final install youll ensure every piece has a purpose every dollar works hard and every space tells the right story.

What Youll Do

• Set and execute a cohesive FF&E vision across the portfolio with flexibility for local market needs
• Develop scalable FF&E standards specs and packages across asset types
• Lead FF&E projects end-to-end including renovations repositionings and new acquisitions
• Manage schedules budgets and procurement to deliver high-quality outcomes on time
• Oversee vendors national purchasing programs and installation logistics
• Hit the road for site visits and quality control walks to make sure the finished product matches the vision
• Partner with operations marketing facilities and Impact teams to enhance leasing branding and resident experience
• Use design strategically to improve underperforming assets

What Were Looking For

• 3 years of experience in interior design FF&E procurement or project management
• Strong ability to align design decisions with market demand and investment goals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools
• A design-forward leader who balances creativity with cost timing and execution
• Proactive collaborative and comfortable working across diverse markets and asset types
• Bachelors degree in a design-related field or equivalent hands-on experience
