Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician with experience in service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing maintaining and repairing electrical lighting systems including streetlights commercial lighting and outdoor fixtures while safely operating in various environments.

• • Install troubleshoot repair and maintain lighting systems including LED HID and other commercial/outdoor lighting fixtures.
  • Perform electrical wiring conduit installation and connections for lighting systems in compliance with NEC and local codes.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on lighting systems and bucket truck equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in lighting systems ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers contractors and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed materials used and time spent on job sites.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols including OSHA standards and ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection equipment.

• • Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems lighting controls and energy-efficient lighting technologies.
  • Familiarity with NEC local electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks at heights and in various weather conditions.
