Position Title: ARRT Licensed Vascular Interventional Radiology Tech Location: Grant Medical Center (Columbus OH) in OR Shift: 5x8s Day Shift (0645-1515); every other holiday Call: Call and weekend expectation to take of total call including weekends RTO: No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved Minimum Requirements (4047): HS diploma/GED Graduate of an accredited radiography program ARRT or current equivalent certification Must hold Ohio Department of Health radiologic license PENDING ACCEPTED (24-48hrs to obtain) BLS Certification 2 years of experience May consider 1 yr exp but MUST have Level I or Level II trauma expVascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing monitoring and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound. The most common procedures are abdominal aortograms with runoff fistulagrams carotid angios EVARs. Must be able to operate floro and c-arm. The department has an average of 20 patients per day surgical Scrubs provided labs run 2:1 RT:RN. EPIC charting. 2 endovascular suites and also open procedure ORs.
