We arelooking for: Emergency Veterinary Technician- Relief

Every day is different andtheresnever the same case twice!

Whatyoulldo:

Record and deliver organized roundsdiscusscasesandgatheradditionalinformation as necessary

Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment

Partner withpatient care teamregardingtreatment plans clientcommunicationand nursing care concerns

Provide client education including but not limitedto:home care instructions medications (indications adverse reactions)and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients

Assist DVM with patient assessmenttreatmentand procedures

Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients

Induce andmonitorgeneral anesthesiaandsedation procedures

Perform in-house laboratory testingandprepare samples for outside laboratory testing

Who you are:

State Registered Veterinary Technician licensepreferred

Prior veterinary experiencerequiredpreviousemergencyexperience desired

Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)

Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: This position has an initial hiring range of $27.25 to $44.00 per hour based on skillset and experience.

We support our evening and weekend caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:

Hours worked from 8pm - 11:59pm base pay $4/hour
Hours worked from 12am - 7:59am base pay $6/hour
Hours worked on weekends (day or night) base pay $3/hour any applicable differentials
