Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join our retail client delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) and a proven track record of designing developing and supporting scalable eCommerce solutions.
The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders architects QA and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

SFCC Development and Customization
Design develop and maintain eCommerce applications using Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Customize storefronts using ISML templates controllers pipelines and cartridges
Ensure scalable high-performance and secure application development
Integration and API Development
Implement and integrate third-party services such as payment gateways logistics/shipping systems and tax/fraud systems
Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs for seamless system integrations
Work with Order Management Systems (OMS) and other enterprise platforms
eCommerce Functional Implementation
Work on product catalog pricing promotions and checkout flows
Support customer journey enhancements and digital commerce features
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver responsive and user-friendly storefronts
Production Support and Maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues ensuring high availability and performance
Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance in a production support model
Participate in release management and deployment activities

Quality and Best Practices
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Follow security best practices and performance optimization techniques
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
Collaboration and Delivery
Work in Agile/Scrum teams for iterative development and delivery
Collaborate with architects QA teams and business stakeholders
Ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
Proficiency in JavaScript ISML HTML and CSS
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
Strong experience in integrating third-party systems (payment logistics OMS etc.)
Solid understanding of eCommerce concepts such as catalog management checkout and order management
Experience with version control tools like Git
Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good-to-Have Skills
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer Certification
Experience in retail domain
Exposure to headless commerce or composable architecture
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

815 years of overall IT experience
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SFCC
Proven experience in developing scalable eCommerce solutions
Strong understanding of integrations and enterprise system architecture
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
