THE TEAM

The mission of the Intellectual Property (IP) & Brand Protection Department is to aggressively safeguard and preserve our brand.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our IP & Brand Protection team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for safeguarding Aritzias brand image and ensuring Aritzia strategically capitalizes on IP value. As the Senior Specialist / Specialist IP & Brand Protection you will collaborate with our Product Division to drive IP protection including managing the patent process and preparing technical drawings. THE ROLE

As the Senior Specialist / Specialist IP & Brand Protection you will support with:

• Establishing Aritzias approach to IP & Brand Protection

• Identifying and advising on brand protection opportunities in our Product Division

• Capitalizing on Intellectual Property value including preparing technical drawings

• Identifying imitation misrepresentation and reputational risks to our brand

• Seamlessly remediating brand infringements

• Responding quickly to brand infringements and mitigating future abuse

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Specialist / Specialist IP & Brand Protection has:

• Proven skills certifications education and/or experience in Intellectual Property

• Experience preparing technical drawings for patent applications is an asset

• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles

• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $50000$150000 per year. Total compensation may include base bonus and/or equity depending on the role which has the potential to be greater than this range.
