We are looking for:

Seasonal ER LVT (Seasonal need will be from March thru August)

Available Shift:

Thursday Friday Saturday - 12p - 12a

What youll do:

Record and deliver organized rounds discusscasesand gatheradditionalinformation as necessary
Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment
Partner with patient care teamregardingtreatment plans client communication and nursing care concerns
Provide client education including but not limitedto:home care instructions medications (indications adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients
Assist DVM with patient assessmenttreatmentand procedures
Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients
Induce andmonitorgeneral anesthesia and sedation procedures
Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing

Who you are:

State Registered Veterinary Technician licenserequired
Prior veterinary experiencerequiredpreviousemergencyexperience desired
Proficientincalculations(drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation:

This position has an initial hiring range of $24.00 to $36.00 per hour based on skillset and experience.

We supportcaregivers with lucrative shift differentials:

-Hours worked between 8pm and 11:59pm base pay $2/hour

-Hours worked between 12am to 7:59am base pay $3/hour

-Hours worked on Weekends (day or night) base pay $1/hour any applicable differential
