Executive Officer / Assistant Executive Officer ()
At the HKBU School of Business we value people who are curious and passionate and we reward both collaboration and innovation. The appointee will be a key member of the dynamic Mainland and Global Engagement Section (MGES) for proactively developing and executing the internationalisation plan of the School.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivery of year-round internationalisation initiatives for the School;
- Organise on/off campus experiential programmes to facilitate integration of international students;
- Support and attend physical and/or virtual overseas conferences together with school leadership to solicit partnerships for the School;
- Liaise effectively with external and internal bodies to support recruitment mobility processes event delivery partner management and maintaining records; and
- Performing other duties as assigned to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to international recruitment mobility and integration outcomes.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree preferably accompanied by at least two years of relevant work experience;
- A positive attitude with the ability to multi-task demonstrate strong attention to detail and work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
- Experience in administrative support event coordination customer service or student services;
- A high standard of written and spoken English Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage; and
- Proficiency in computer software such as Canva MS Office and/or Google Workspace.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Executive Officer role.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
