Senior Project Manager Construction (SC Cleared)
Location: London (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)
Rate: Up to 700 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile construction project. This role requires strong leadership commercial oversight and stakeholder management with a focus on ensuring successful project execution within time cost and quality constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end construction project delivery.
- Hold contractors accountable for programme cost and performance.
- Proactively manage risk identification and mitigation including delays cost overruns and permitting challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client/developer and the design team (Architects & Engineers).
- Coordinate across professional services contractors internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Deliver regular progress reporting to senior leadership and governance forums.
Essential Requirements
- Proven expertise in construction methodologies and technical delivery.
- Strong financial management and cost control experience.
- Solid understanding of contract frameworks such as JCT and NEC.
- Advanced knowledge of project scheduling tools (Primavera MS Project).
- Expert understanding of Health & Safety legislation within construction environments.
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Significant experience operating at Senior PM / Project Director level within the built environment (surveying planning risk mitigation).
- Demonstrable strength in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Specialist knowledge of construction Health & Safety regulations.
