Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Client Director to join their growing Corporate team.
This role will focus on managing and developing a portfolio of corporate clients while also driving new business growth. You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships delivering tailored insurance solutions and contributing to the wider commercial strategy of the business.
Working closely with senior leadership and internal specialist teams you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying and securing new opportunities within the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction
Drive new business generation building and maintaining a strong and active pipeline
Develop and implement client service plans and long-term account strategies
Lead on renewal processes programme design and broking strategy
Build strong relationships with insurers to negotiate competitive terms
Collaborate with internal teams including Claims Risk Management and specialist divisions
Conduct client meetings presentations and reviews
Ensure clients fully understand coverage risks and policy structures
Support overall business growth through cross-selling and identifying new opportunities
Represent the business at networking events and industry functions
Carry out any additional duties required by the business
DAY TO DAY
Manage client portfolios ensuring service standards are consistently delivered
Maintain and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
Conduct regular client meetings and reviews
Oversee renewal strategies and broking activity
Liaise with insurers and internal teams to deliver client solutions
Monitor income credit control and overall account performance
Record and manage activity through internal systems (e.g. Acturis)
Work closely with leadership on growth strategy and performance
EXPERIENCE
Proven experience within acorporate insurance broking role
Strong track record in both client management and new business generation
Experience dealing with mid-market to corporate clients
Strong understanding of the commercial insurance market and products
Experience working within a target-driven environment
SKILLS
Excellent relationship management and client-facing skills
Strong negotiation and influencing ability
Commercially driven with a proactive approach to growth
Strong organisational and pipeline management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Desired: Cert CII (Dip CII advantageous)
