About the Role

As a Pharmacy Coordinator you will support the daily operations of our onsite pharmacy by coordinating prescription processing inventory management billing activities and patient support services. Working closely with Pharmacists and crossfunctional healthcare teams you will help ensure medications are prepared accurately delivered on time and supported through compliant documentation and billing practices.

This role is ideal for someone with handson experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment who is comfortable working independently managing multiple priorities and delivering a high standard of patientfocused service in a fastpaced regulated setting.

This position is 100% onsite Monday through Friday 8:00am4:00pm Pacific Time.

What Youll Do:

• Coordinate daily pharmacy operations including prescription intake order processing and workflow tracking
• Accurately enter and maintain patient profiles and prescription records in pharmacy systems
• Support prescription billing activities including thirdparty insurance claims copay processing and coordination of benefits
• Prepare and assist with medication dispensing under the direction of the Pharmacist ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage pharmacy calendars delivery schedules and appointment coordination
• Conduct outbound and inbound patient communications related to order status documentation or outstanding billing items (non-clinical)
• Liaise with physicians insurers reimbursement teams and internal partners to resolve coverage or documentation issues
• Support pharmacy inventory activities including stock ordering tracking reconciliation and expiry monitoring
• Ensure compliance with SOPs privacy standards and regulatory requirements
• Complete accurate documentation and data entry across multiple systems
• Contribute to administrative and operational tasks to support overall pharmacy efficiency

Basic Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a pharmacy healthcare or medical administration environment.
• Experience that demonstrates:
  • Prescription or medical order processing
  • Patient or customer service in a regulated setting
  • Accurate data entry and documentation

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience in a retail specialty or clinic pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and thirdparty billing platforms.
• Exposure to insurance claims processing prior authorizations or reimbursement workflows.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy documentation standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word).
• Comfort working in a fastpaced highvolume environment.

• Travel: None required
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods perform repetitive computer tasks and occasionally lift up to approximately 20 lbs.
