Texas Litter Control ishiring full and part time Vet Technicians for Surgery and/or General Practice. Salary ranges from $17-$30 per hour(dependent on experience and license status). General Practice Technician Description

Support GP Veterinarian providing vet exams diagnostics and prescriptions/refills. Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their pets.

• Greet customers as they enter the clinic.
• Answer phones as needed as back up to the call center staff.
• Book appointments.
• Print admission forms and answer questions about services and pricing.
• Fill prescriptions.
• Perform adoptions on cat/kittens in lobby.
• Clean cat cages in lobby.
• Keep lobby clean at all times.
• Keep storage closet organized.
• Draw blood administer fluids give injections of all types look at specimens under microscope.
• Monitor equipment and report problems to the Executive Director as they are detected
• Laundry
• Mopping
• Maintain proper stock of supplies in all areas of the clinic
• Perform other duties as assigned
