Description

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Sr. Managerwithin the Gasoline Technology Services (TS) Group of the Technical Services Department located in Des Plaines IL. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations in the Gasoline TS group by administratively managing technical specialists monitoring global group activities scheduling customer accountabilities and projects and coordinating internal support of the UPT LST and STS Business Groups.

The selected candidate will have accountability for performance and salary planning for their direct reports from the TS teamcoordinate work process development for efficient use of resources and work with other TS managers towards standardization of group outputs. The selected candidate will also monitor compliance to the established work processes and will maintain group metrics to record group progress towards performance targets. The Sr. Manager of the Gasoline TS group will also determine TSs final position on any technical matter for Gasoline technologies and will be an active member of the UOP Product Line Operating Teams (PLOT).

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule activities of the global Gasoline TS team towards meeting the AOP goals and objectives. Assign customer coverage to members of the group consistent with the requirements and needs of UPT LST and STS business units.
  • Strive to build and maintain a strong and diverse team of global Gasoline TS Specialists who constantly innovate our technologies offerings and internal work processes.
  • Ensure the newer members of the team are being effectively mentored by more senior members of the team. Ensure newer members of the team are progressing and growing as technical specialists. Provide appropriate development opportunities for more experienced group members to strengthen the overall team.
  • Champion change and improvement in the Gasoline technologies and for TS work processes and connected offerings. Embrace service decoupled and growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate development of standardized work processes for group functions and for FOS advisors supporting Gasoline technologies. Work with other TS managers and Service leadership to share best practices and implement standardized practices for all TS. Identify and provide resources for work process projects and to monitor work process development for team members.
  • Provide resources for technology resolution projects and coordinate MOC process for projects in the group.
  • Participate in customer meetings or industry events as necessary.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technology service engineering process operations or design engineering role within the refining petrochemical or gas processing industry is required.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while collaborating effectively across disciplines.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% annually to both domestic and international sites. Mosttravel can be scheduled and planned in advance.

The annual base salary range for this position in Des Plaines IL is $140K - $170K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
