The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team you will design build and maintain the core infrastructure that empowers healthcare providers who use our platform every single day as they care for patients. As an OpenAI portfolio company you will be surrounded by the leading minds in AI and exposed to the latest advancements in our field.

In the first 6 months youll be responsible for setting up the foundations for long-term success investing in platform observability reliability and scalability. Youll own the entire lifecycle of major technical initiatives in our AI stack from system design to deploying the code youve written.

Our Engineering roles are hybrid in our SF office 3x/wk.

What Youll Do:

• Design and architect scalable reliable platform infrastructure that underpins every product experience our clinicians depend on

• Anticipate system bottlenecks and proactively re-architect key components before they create issues for our customers

• Lead platform initiatives with high strategic value accelerating speed of iteration while preventing accumulation of technical debt

• Hold the codebase to a high standard and contribute to engineering processes that encourage shipping quality code with confidence

Who You Are:

• You have 5 years of experience tackling challenging zero-to-one software engineering problems that have spanned multiple teams

• Youre comfortable working on a modern infrastructure stack including cloud providers (e.g. AWS GCP) containers (e.g. Docker) queuing systems (e.g. SQS Kafka) and standard database technologies (e.g. Postgres)

• You have a demonstrated ability to own execution of ideas from inception through to successful outcomes

• Youre willing to flex up and down the stack in order to take projects to the finish line

• You are a low-ego team player who prioritizes co-discovering the best ideas even if theyre not your own

• You value being a kind encouraging and supportive teammate

• You thrive in environments with high levels of complexity uncertainty and ambiguity

Pay Transparency
We offer a base compensation range of approximately $200000$265000 per year exclusive of equity. This intentionally broad range provides flexibility for candidates to tailor their cash and equity mix based on individual preferences. Our compensation philosophy prioritizes meaningful equity grants enabling team members to share directly in the impact they help create.
