Weekend Caregivers, CNAsHHAs

About us: Always Best Care Jacksonville is a state licensed and nationally accredited HOME HEALTH AGENCY providing private duty non-medical and skilled care in Clay Duval and St Johns Counties. We provide a professional supportive and rewarding work environment with free ongoing education.

We are seeking caregivers who have weekend availability. Must be able to travel to Clay Duval or St Johns Counties where our clients reside.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services in clients residence
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany clients to doctors office or errands
• Monitor clients (vital signs temperature respiration etc.) and report on their condition on the WellSky App
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Maintain client care records and document provided services
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support.

Skills/Requirements:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Proven work experience as Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Level 2 background/fingerprinting
• Current CPR
• Current TB test (within the year)
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Valid drivers license.

Location: Jacksonville FL
Job Types: Full-time- Part-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Standard shift:

• Weekend shifts (daytime afternoons overnights when needed)

Experience:

• Home Health or Caregiving : 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
• CNA License or Home Health Aide Certificate (Required)
• Level 2 Background Screening (Required)
• Proof of current negative TB and/or Chest X-ray (Required)
• Valid Driver License and/or State ID (Required)
• Employment Authorization (Required)
