Job Summary

Overview

As aSteampunk MuleSoft Project Manager manages the lifecycle of integration projects coordinating dependencies between source systems target systems and middleware. For this role the PM will need to execute the work under our Salesforce Program Manager

Contributions

  • Tracks API development sprints and ensures connectivity prerequisites are resolved.
  • Manage Agile/Information Technology related projects and must be well versed in software development life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Will oversee scrum team for key high-priority project for the client.
  • Identifies and mitigate risks. Work with key stakeholders/customers to support planning and delivery of technical IT development Agile projects.
  • Help define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members.
  • Support managing customer expectations for project deliverables managing stakeholder communications and help to implement an effective system of project governance.
  • Primary focus is making sure the teams are effective and focused on their work.
  • Coaches the teams in their understanding of the delivery process the agile mindset and client values.
  • Helps the team use their time wisely and avoid distractions.
  • Makes sure team issues are escalated worked and resolved.
  • Apply different techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops create a shared understanding with stakeholders and engage team-members to produce product and portfolio roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
  • 4 years of experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies
  • 4 years of experience serving as the Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Must have experience with the Mulesoft Platform and associated technologies.
  • Must have CSM and SAFe certifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science MIS or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients build consensus and achieve goals through influence
  • Ability to help teams write user stories/epics identify dependencies and design optimal solutions
  • Flexibility to work with teams individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary including but not limited to geographic location contractual requirements education knowledge skills competencies and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $100000 to $150000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
