JOB DESCRIPTION

Job purpose

The spot truck driver moves trailers and drives inside the plant properties safely and efficiently to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

Spots trailers
Performs driving duties for Cotton Plant Transportation as needed.
All other duties as assigned

Requirements

QualificationsRequired

Minimum one year driving experience.
Valid Class A CDL.
CDL (in detail)
Clean MVR.
Good interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED.

Working conditionsThis job operates in an outdoor environment including weather conditions.Physical requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear bend stoop kneel and twist and lift up to 50 pounds; hold and operate air powered tools weighing up to 5 pounds. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The job is in a plant environment where the temperature can be hot or cold depending on the weather.

Salary Description

$16 - $18/hr.
