Our Newspaper packaging facility operates 365 days a year. workweek we are seeking dependable candidates to work 40 hours per week. Starting times vary depending on the workday and include:Flexible schedules Four 10-hour workdaysHealth Dental and Vision at discounted Local CBA ratesAfter 60 probation youll receive Uniforms and Generous 1st year paid time off to include (2 Weeks Vacation 5 Sick days and 3 Personal days)Monthly Attendance BonusMachine set-up and operator payResponsibilities:Feed preprints into insert machine hopper neatly and and Maintaining Mailroom Packaging EquipmentTransporting product using pallet trucksFeeding inserter machinesHand insertion of papersSkid bundles and stacking of productsKeeping department neat and clean empty trash and scrap paperSweeping floorsOther task and duties as assignedRequirements:Must pass drug screeningonlyif hired as vehicle or forklift operatorMust pass background checkMust have good dexterity and be able to stand during entire shiftHigh School Diploma (or GED)Must be able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly Must be able to perform accurate and efficient tasksMust possess basic math skillsMust have ability to work in a fast-paced environmentEmployees must have a high degree of safety average problem-solving skills necessary to monitor and repair automatic inserting and collating be able to change work assignments on short notice and be flexible in requires working in production areas while forklifts pallet jacks inserting and related equipment are in use.
