Job Summary
SummaryParticipates in the design development testing implementation and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications. Will also assist in training and supporting end users.

You will collaborate with a team of application coordinators who support the MyChart application used for patients throughout the Mass General Brigham network and its affiliates to manage their care and leverage MyChart self-service features such as messaging their care team scheduling appointments and billing account management. Comprehensive training and support will be provided including earning an Epic MyChart certification.
Essential Functions
-Assists with the documentation of business requirements and the translation of those requirements to functional specifications for the software application.
-Assists with the development and execution of testing plans and other software quality assurance tasks.
-Trains end users on the operation of software applications. Assists with the development of end-user documentation.
-Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues escalating them as needed for timely resolution.
-Provides high-quality customer-focused services.
-Runs reports and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.

MyChart Production Support- General:
Understanding of Primary and Specialty Clinic Workflows

MyChart Enhancements/Projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree Computer Science required or Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Related IT experience ideally in healthcare IT environment 0-1 year required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Experience in the development support or operation of software applications preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to document workflows and business processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
- If you are utilizing Epic you must be able to obtain the required certifications as outlined in the program requirements.

M-F Eastern Business Hours Full Time required
Hybrid model includes in person onsite work at MGB local sites weekly or monthly to be determined based on business needs
Must be flexible for weekly or monthly in person stakeholder meetings team meetings and internal customer needs
On remote workdays employees must use a stable secure and compliant workstation in a quiet environment. Teams video is required and must be accessed using MGB-provided equipment
