Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelders Redmond WA office is seeking full-time or part-time Interns for the summer / fall of 2026 in Geotechnical Lab & Field-Testing Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for students pursuing a graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.

Under the supervision of experienced PEs and certified staff the intern will assist in advanced lab testing and data logging of field explorations. Hands on training will be provided. The intern will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

This opportunity is expected to last three months; however is flexible on exact dates.

General knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel is preferred.

Valid drivers license clean driving record and reliable transportation required.

Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program or geology program.

Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.

Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and range: $20 - 35.
