Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work on electronics boards and subsystems for satellites and space-based sensors for our Strategic & Military Space Division. The ideal candidate works well within a team is proficient at circuit board design test and debug and likes to take their designs from concept through to design test and launch. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or graduate degree in electrical or computer engineering
• 10 years of experience with a BS 8 years of experience with a MS or 4 years with a PhD
• Demonstratable experience with electrical circuit design analysis and test
• Highly proficient at testing and troubleshooting digital and analog systems in a laboratory environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
• Must be able to travel occasionally

• Top Secret Clearance
• Experience in high reliability design for space and/or military systems
• Understanding of radiation considerations in electronic design
• Experience as a technical lead
• Experience with high-speed communications interfaces
• Experience automating testing of electronics
• FPGA programming experience
• Embedded systems experience

• $116000 - $175000
  • Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience
