About the PositionUnder the general supervision of the University Residence Facilities Program Manager A the HFSA supports University Residences by ensuring efficient customer-focused daily operations across assigned residential community front desks collaborating with campus partners to ensure that facilities support services are adequately performed for assigned areas. This position provides leadership and supervision to University Residences Facilities Assets Projects (URFAP) student staff oversees administrative services related to mail and packages keys resources occupancy and building access billing (damage resources credentials) and maintains compliance with University policies and procedures. The role ensures smooth housing operations through effective staff development accurate data and record management and proactive communication with residents campus partners and professional collaboration with occupancy custodial and residence life teams the HFSA contributes to a safe inclusive and welcoming environment while supporting opening closing summer conference /emergency/guest housing and other operational needs throughout the year.

This is a state-classified position as Office Support Supervisor 1.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of professional experience in a fast-paced office setting including data entry and customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and provide inclusive professional service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
  • Proven ability to manage tasks prioritize work and communicate effectively in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to travel across campus and work occasional evenings weekends or overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training or demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusive practices
  • Experience living or working in university residential housing
  • Experience using Housing management systems (preferably StarRez) and other web-based administrative tools
  • Supervisory or lead experience especially with student employees
  • Experience with occupancy conference housing or event coordination in a higher education environment
  • Ability to apply data-informed decision-making
  • Experience marketing services or information to diverse audiences

Salary$3864 - $5161/month depending on qualifications and experience
