Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineers.

Position Overview:

  • Coordinate with engineering teams project administrators and regulators (may include international regulators/validation authorities) to successfully certify projects for commercial aircraft production teams
  • Review certification plans write letters to regulators and understand compliance process
  • Leading cross-functional teams resulting in resolution of technical issues.
  • Coordinate technical messaging and partnering with the FAA on regulatory issues
  • Own manage and have/develop technical aptitude to enable execution of process/procedure documents (BPM BPIs D6s D950s etc.)
  • Ensure proper coordination across products platforms and functional areas to promote culture of compliance to requirements and application of procedures and FAA guidance
  • Develop strategic action plans for changes to certification processes and execute those plans through completion
  • Contribute to root cause corrective action plans for development and execution of noncompliances voluntary disclosures informal corrective actions formal corrective actions etc. including reviewing/researching processes design practices analysis conducting root cause analysis and identifying/owning corrective actions and corrective action plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Level 3: 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working directly with the FAA or and ODA on type Certification projects
  • Experience and familiarity with FAA processes and procedures and ODA and Applicant roles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Level 4: 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills teaming successfully to solve technical issues
  • Experience developing and managing internal processes and procedures
  • Experience in a role developing leading and executing projects and utilizing project processes / skills
  • Experience in customer relationship development promoting long term account plans and growing trusting relationships
  • Experience presenting to multiple levels of an organization
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and work streams

  • Mid-Level (Level 3) $114750.00 - $155250.00
  • Senior (Level 4) $141100.00 - $190900.00
