About the Role: If you have apassion for engineering and are looking for your next challenge thisis an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider in the SatComand Maritime sector. As part of the field engineering team youllsupport a wide range of vessels from super tankers to mega yachts installing maintaining and repairing vital communications andnavigation systems.
The role offers the chance to workindependently or as part of a team supported by extensive trainingfrom industry-leading manufacturers. Youll be part of acollaborative can-do culture in a fast-paced environment withopportunities to develop technically and work on complex retrofit andbridge integration projects.
Client: Our client deliverssatellite and radio communication solutions globally with operationsacross Europe Singapore and the United States. They employapproximately 250 people worldwide and provide secure high-qualitycommunication services for maritime enterprise and governmentsectors.

What Youll Do:
- Perform VDR Annual PerformanceTests (VDR-APTs)
- Conduct radio surveys andinspections
- Install repair and maintainGMDSS communication equipment
- Install repair and maintainnavigational systems
- Install repair and maintainVSAT satellite broadband systems
- Work on retrofit projectscompleting full bridge system installations and large-scaleintegrations
What Well Expect:
- Higher National Certificate(HNC) ONC NVQ Level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Ideally educated or qualifiedin an IT or engineering-related field
- Possession of a full cleandriving licence
- Ability to pass amarine/offshore medical examination
- Valid passport forinternational travel
- At least 3 years of experienceas a Marine Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electronicand electrical engineering principles
- GMDSS Radio Operator /Maintainer Licence preferred
