Eligible for immediate Nova Scotia Automotive Service Technician certification
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automobiles and light trucks
10 years is considered as asset for senior/lead-level roles
Additional Requirements:
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
Strong diagnostic skills using modern scan tools
Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
Detail-oriented with strong workmanship standards
Team-oriented attitude
Work Conditions: On-site position. Extended periods of standing handling heavy objects exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Occasional overtime weekend shifts and on-call rotation may be required.

Job Duties:
Diagnose repair and maintain automobiles and light trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Perform mechanical electrical and drivetrain system repairs
Utilize modern diagnostic scan tools and OEM-level software
Conduct inspections and testing of automotive systems and components
Complete warranty repairs and service documentation accurately
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices (if applicable)
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time 40 hours per week
Language of Work: English
Wage: $32.00 to $45.00 per hour (based on experience certifications and seniority). Overtime paid as per Nova Scotia Labour Standards.
