Summary: The Patient Care Representative I (PCR I) is an entry-level role responsible for delivering and fitting prescribed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to orthopedic patients under the direct guidance of the PCR Team Lead. This role focuses on accurate documentation patient education customer service excellence and operational compliance. The PCR I supports patient recovery by ensuring proper equipment setup and reinforcing physician instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support & Equipment Delivery
- Review daily schedule and orders from administration team under direction of PCR Lead.
- Deliver fit and set up prescribed DME as ordered by physicians.
- Educate patients on proper usage wear schedules and care of equipment.
- Provide required documentation and collect patient signatures.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation prior to submission.
- Submit required paperwork promptly to administration team.
- Follow HIPAA and patient privacy standards at all times.
- Maintain organized records and legible documentation.
Inventory & Equipment Maintenance
- Pick up clean and restock returned equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment concerns.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
Customer Service
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients and clinical partners.
- Support additional DME sales as appropriate and directed.
On-Call
- Participate in assigned 7-day on-call rotation.

Work Location: In-person.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or combination of relevant healthcare experience and education preferred.
- Background in athletic training nursing orthotics or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Teams).
- Valid U.S. drivers license and current auto insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive daily within service area.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must maintain non-exclusion from government healthcare programs (OIG list).

- Regularly required to drive within the city and surrounding area(s) daily.
