Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community providing operating and assuring critical voice video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for aTier 3 Network Engineerto supportthe24x7 Network Operations Centerin providingTier 3 network service and superior troubleshootingexpertise.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide Tier 3 support to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
Supports an organizations local area network (LAN) wide area network (WAN) customer networks Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
Maintain network hardware and software.
Proactivelyidentifyrisks in the network and develop a plan to mitigate them.
Supportsnumerousbusiness requirements for telecommunications (e.g. LAN MAN WANVoiceand Video).

Required Clearance:

TSSCI with poly (#tssci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

Advanced networking qualifications including MPLS BGP OSPF LAMBDA. LAN/MAN/WAN/Optical specialization.
Utilizationof common ticket systems (Remedy ServiceNow) and common network management tools (HPOV HPNASolarwinds MNS Netcooletc).
Must have hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems.
Must have a strong understanding of the OSI model and configuration of routing protocols such as EIGRP OSPF MPLS BGP LDP.
Candidate must have a total of 12years of applicable experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 12years of work history OR an Associates and10years a Bachelors and8years aMastersand6years or a PhD and4years of work history.

Desired Qualifications

Preferred network certifications Cisco CCNA CCNP CCIE Juniper JNCIA JNCIS or JNCIE ITIL Foundations and/or CISSP
