Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures (e.g. endoscopy colonoscopy) interpretation of related diagnostics and management of digestive disorders.
• Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner strong communication skills cultural competence compassion attention to detail and a team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system disorders.
• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic test results and imaging studies.
• Educate patients on digestive health disease prevention and treatment options.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate timely and compliant medical documentation.
