As aSoftwareImplementation Consultant youlead projectsandworkin partnershipwith ourhigher educationcustomers to implement our exciting portfolio of performance management solutions including Budgeting ForecastingStrategic Financial PlanningTuition Revenue Planning Commitments Allocations and more. You will managethe day-to-day activities with customers across thedistinct phasesof the implementation process including system design configuration training and deployment. You willbe part of a highly collaborative team of consultantswith a wealth of higher education finance experience working totranslate business needs into demonstrable capabilities in the application andmodifyour products to align with specific customer requirements.
In this role you will:
- Lead multidimensional software implementation projects and develop valuable customer relationships
- Collaboratewith customers at all levels (executive to end-user) tounderstand their businessobjectivesandconfigureoptimalsoftwaresystemsto fulfill these goals
- Train customer finance leadership teams on our software andourrecommended best practices
- Train customer system administrators tomaintainsystems post-deployment and enhance end-user adoption
- Provide advisory services to help customersoptimizetheir use ofour software products
- Use your industry knowledge experienceandtechnical skills to design and buildtoolstailored to customer requirements
Whatwerelooking for
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- 3-5years of relevant experience in a finance role (e.g. Financial Analyst/BudgetAnalystSeniorFinancial Analyst/Senior Budget AnalystAssistant BudgetDirector CollegeOperations Manageretc.)preferably involved in the higher education budgeting may includethe following or similar activities:
- Engagement in annual process and workflows for operational budgeting labor planningand/or capital budgeting
- Involvement in tuitionor feerevenue planningpre/post-award grants administration
- Development ofcomplexanalyses such asprogram profitability forecastingor similar bringing togetherdata from various sources
- Monitoring budget to actuals activity and/or communicatingfinancial positionsto stakeholders who are not finance professionals
- Experience withdata input or outputs toyourinstitutions ERP system
- Excellent attention to detailandorganizationalskills
- Excellent communication andpeople skills
- Ability to work on multiple taskssimultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results
- Highly organized and analytical with the ability to adapt and think creatively to solve problems
- High energy entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for being part of a growingvertical
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to contribute ideasand share insights
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. to customer locations up to1025%as needed
You can wow us with
- Additionalyears of experience in higher educationfinance and/or budgeting
- Experience working within academic medical centers orschools of medicine
- Familiarity building relational databases or using an existing relational database to create reports or other analytic tools
- Experience leading or working within a software implementation committeeas a customer
- Software implementation consulting experience
- Experience increatingfinancial models such as revenueprojections new program profitabilityforecasts or similar
Estimated Salary Range: $
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
