Job Summary

This role is responsible for partnering with HPs Global Pricing Deal Management and Commercial Operations teams to understand business requirements architect scalable pricing solutions and support endtoend deal enablement. The Solution Architect designs and optimizes pricing system capabilities ensures alignment to HPs commercial governance anticipates crossfunctional dependencies and supports robust testing across quoting pricing and approval workflows. The role plays a key part in planning and execution of pricing transformation initiatives directs solution activities within the pricing domain and contributes to HPs deal modeling pricing strategies and marginoptimization frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with HPs global and regional Pricing Deal Management Category (Product Management) and Finance teams to understand business needs qualify requirements and identify solution improvements across pricing quoting and commercial governance workflows.
  • Architect adaptive pricing solutions (e.g. discounting logic approval workflows margin controls price waterfalls) that support business objectives improve deal velocity and maintain compliance with HP policies.
  • Build and maintain executivelevel relationships across Pricing Sales Finance and Product Categories; present solution designs address leadershiplevel concerns and support commercial negotiation strategies with datadriven insights.
  • Optimize pricing systems (CPQ revenue tools internal pricing engines) in alignment with HPs global IT roadmap ensuring scalability automation and alignment to HP pricing guardrails and gotomarket motions.
  • Anticipate crosstower dependencies (quoting catalog product configuration finance integrations) and mitigate risks across upstream and downstream pricing data flows.
  • Direct activities across pricing solution workstreams; collaborate with financial analysts pricing managers writers and operations teams to consolidate pricing assumptions pricing models and commercial documentation.
  • Support Development of transition and changemanagement plans for new pricing capabilities; contribute to solution reviews governance checkpoints and HP commercial policy alignment reviews.
  • Support cost estimation pricing model enhancements and development of strategic pricing frameworks used by deal teams globally.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelors or Graduate degree in Business Finance Engineering Information Technology Computer Science or related discipline; or comparable work experience in pricing architecture or deal management.
  • Typically 710 years of experience ideally in pricing deal management revenue operations CPQ architecture business process architecture commercial governance or technical sales within a global enterprise.

Salary:

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $140650 to $207450 USD
annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location job-related
knowledge skills and experience.
