RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains a safe working environment through the adherence of established Hormel safety polices.
• Supervises and trainsTeam Leaders to assure the production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
• Develops short-term and long-range production plan schedules to meet the needs of sales and assures the ordering of raw materials and/or supplies required for scheduling production in his/her assigned area.
• Assures the production of products/services meets quality objectives.
• Achieves labor efficiency and utilization objectives standard yield objectives safety objectives production cost objectives and sanitation/housekeeping objectives.
• Assures HACCP and other food safety initiatives are implemented to Hormel & USDA expectations.
• Implements and supports Hormel Production System Lean Manufacturing principles and maturity initiatives.
• Provides vacation relief forTeam Leaders andOperations Managers.

• Performs project work as assigned byOperations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant industry experience.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing plant supervision.
• A pattern of initiative and leadership.
• Strong problem-solving decision making and project management skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States a lawful permanent resident or have authorization to work in the United States.

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $86600 - $121200 per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
