RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a safe working environment through the adherence of established Hormel safety polices.
- Supervises and trainsTeam Leaders to assure the production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
- Develops short-term and long-range production plan schedules to meet the needs of sales and assures the ordering of raw materials and/or supplies required for scheduling production in his/her assigned area.
- Assures the production of products/services meets quality objectives.
- Achieves labor efficiency and utilization objectives standard yield objectives safety objectives production cost objectives and sanitation/housekeeping objectives.
- Assures HACCP and other food safety initiatives are implemented to Hormel & USDA expectations.
- Implements and supports Hormel Production System Lean Manufacturing principles and maturity initiatives.
- Provides vacation relief forTeam Leaders andOperations Managers.
Performs project work as assigned byOperations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant industry experience.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing plant supervision.
- A pattern of initiative and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving decision making and project management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States a lawful permanent resident or have authorization to work in the United States.

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $86600 - $121200 per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
