Our team empowers Walmart customers tomanage their profile addresses and wallet with confidence and ease. We own Walmartsfoundational Profile and Wallet platforms deliveringsecure scalable identity and payment capabilitiesthat are consumed across channels and products throughout the customer journey.
As aSenior Software Engineer Web/Nodeon this team youll helpshape the Web Fe and GraphQL layerof these platforms throughGraphQLdriven integrationsand close collaboration with backend product and design partners. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value whether they shop online at through one of our mobile apps or in-store. Focus areas include customers stores and employees in-store service merchant tools merchant data science and search and personalization.

What youll do:

• Design develop and shiphighquality Web / GraphQL applicationssupportingProfile and Wallet customer journeysat scale.
• Lead Server integrations withGraphQL APIs efficiently consuming identity address and payment data.
• Leadearly technical discoveryfor mediumtolarge initiatives translating product strategy into scalable Web/GraphQL solutions.
• Drive collaboration with backend engineers to evolveAPI contractsserving mobile needs.
• Build features usingNodeJS TypeScript ReactJSwith modern architecture patterns.
• Applyasynchronous programming and concurrencyfor responsive experiences.
• Own production readiness throughdebugging rootcause analysis and stability improvements.
• Ensureperformance security reliability and accessibilitythrough testing and monitoring.
• Leadcode reviews and design discussions influencing mobile standards.
• Drive improvements inCI/CD testing and release quality.

What youll bring:

• Strong experience building and shippingproductiongrade Web/GraphQLapplicationsusing NodeJS ReactJS TypeScript Etc.
• Handson experience integrating mobile applications withGraphQL APIs including data handling and error scenarios.
• Solid understanding ofRESTAPIarchitecture patterns performance optimization and theapplication lifecycle.
• Experience withNodeJSand ReactJS Redux React Query TypeScript including building adaptive accessible and userfocused interfaces.
• Knowledge of HTTP protocols and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience collaborating closely with backend teams onAPI design and integration strategies.
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines automated testing and observability for mobile platforms.
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to navigatecomplex crosslayer issues.
• Experience in-guiding application-design decisions inlargescalecustomerfacingenvironment.

• Experience withR2 release readiness or similar quality and validation frameworks.
• Experience withmobile automation frameworkssupporting testing release validation or operational readiness.
• Exposure toAIassisted developer productivity tools(e.g. code assistance test generation debugging).
• Familiarity working withdesign collaboration tools such as Figmato review and implement product designs.
• Knowledge ofaccessibility standardsand inclusive mobile UI practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $117000.00 - $234000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
