As a Special Education Teacher at Aaron School you will play a key role in shaping a supportive engaging and individualized learning experience for students with diverse needs. You will help students build confidence develop essential skills and reach meaningful milestones in a collaborative mission-driven environment.

What Youll Need

• Masters degree in special education or a related field from an accredited institution

• Active New York State Special Education teaching certification

• Experience developing and managing individualized learning goals and objectives

• Strong communication skills for engaging students families and staff

• Collaborative mindset with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

What Youll Do

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned to curriculum goals and student needs

• Develop and track individualized goals adjusting instruction based on student progress

• Collaborate with faculty and leadership to differentiate and implement curriculum effectively

• Implement classroom management strategies and behavior support plans

• Partner with families through regular communication to support student success
