Enterprise Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the design integration and governance of a hybrid cloud and on-premise environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across cloud platforms and legacy infrastructure with a proven ability to align technology strategy with mission and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks spanning hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Develop and enforce architecture standards patterns and governance policies across the environment
• Lead the integration of cloud-native services with existing on-premise systems ensuring interoperability security and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders engineering teams and leadership to define and execute technology roadmaps
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption aligned with organizational goals
• Support migration planning and execution for workloads transitioning between on-premise and cloud environments
• Ensure compliance with security regulatory and data governance requirements across all platforms
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation including reference architectures solution designs and decision records

This position is fully on-site M-F in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Masters degree and 10 years experience.
  • Masters degree must be in one of the following fields: Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems Software Engineering Cybersecurity Data Science or Mathematics.
  • In lieu of a Masters degree candidate must possess an additional 4 years of relevant experience or specialized training and one of the following active certifications: CISSO CISSP-ISSAP CISSP-ISSEP GCIA GCLD GCSA or GICSP.
• 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS Azure and/or GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking identity management virtualization and storage technologies.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF DODAF or SABSA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• TOGAF certification.
• Experience supporting federal or DoD programs.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
