Job Summary
Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Paramus NJ (07652)
Job Type: Contract (Travel or Local)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule & Shift
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
- Work Setting: Traveling between two clinic locations (Paramus & Montvale)
- No weekend holiday or on-call requirements
- Float requirement within assigned locations
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a strong background in orthopedic care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Assist with patient assessments including vital signs and documentation
- Support orthopedic procedures and clinic workflows
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to clinical policies safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior orthopedic experience required
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting
Education
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Practical Nursing from an accredited program
Certifications & Licensure
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current AHA BLS Certification
