Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver at DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend is responsible for providing safe friendly and efficient transportation services for hotel guests. This role is a key part of the guest experience ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs while delivering the warm hospitality that defines the DoubleTree brand.
Pay: $12.00/hour tips
Status: Part-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests to and from designated locations (airport local businesses Notre Dame area etc.)
- Provide outstanding customer service and a welcoming first/last impression of the hotel
- Assist guests with luggage and directions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the shuttle vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding shuttle schedules and guest needs
- Complete required logs and inspection checklists
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must meet company and insurance requirements to operate a company vehicle
- Previous driving or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (luggage assistance)
- Prolonged periods of sitting standing and driving
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
