We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our State and Local Government Sales Team. This role is responsible for identifying qualifying and developing new business opportunities primarily with state and local law enforcement and public safety organizations. This position offers a competitive base salary with a lucrative commission plan.

Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify new sales opportunities within state and local government accounts
Conduct outbound prospecting via email phone LinkedIn and other channels
Research agencies departments and key stakeholders to identify relevant use cases
Schedule meetings and demos for State and Local Account Executives covering the United States
Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline data in Salesforce
Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop targeted account strategies
Stay informed on public sector trends procurement processes and funding cycles
Additional duties as needed and directed by your manager
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
13 years of experience in sales business development or lead generation (B2B preferred)
Interest in or experience with government/public sector sales is a strong plus
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to research and understand complex organizations and buying processes
Comfortable with outbound prospecting
Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce HubSpot etc.) and sales engagement platforms
