Job Summary
Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week)
Were looking for a skilledPlumberto join our team providing high-quality plumbing services across domestic properties. If you take pride in your work have strong customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment this could be the perfect role for you.
In this role youll carry out installations repairs and maintenance of plumbing fixtures including sinks baths WC suites and cisterns. Youll diagnose and fix leaks ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Liaising with customers planning materials and keeping accurate records will be key parts of your role. Youll also supervise Apprentices support their development and ensure they work safely and effectively.
The role involves working at heights in confined spaces and participating in an out-of-hours emergency rota. Youll also be responsible for maintaining a company vehicle keeping stock levels up to date and following health and safety regulations.
To be successful youll need anNVQ in Plumbingor an equivalent apprenticeship / substantial previous experience in domestic plumbing ideally in social housing. A fullUKmanual driving licenceand your own plumbing tools are essential. You should be confident using power tools working to deadlines and handling IT-based job management systems.
A good working knowledge of NHF SOR codes would be an advantage.
