Job Summary

At St Peter & St James Hospice we believe everyone affected by a lifelimiting illness deserves exceptional care compassion and support.

As our Learning Education & Development (LED) Coordinator youll play a vital role in making sure our peoplestaff and volunteershave the knowledge skills and confidence they need to deliver outstanding care.

Youll bethe central point of contact for all learning and development activity and the lead administrator for our Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Contract Type: Permanent part-time
  • Working Hours: 30 hours per week worked over 4-5 days
  • Salary:22190 - 22853 per annum (27738 - 28566 per annum full-time equivalent)

What Youll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all Learning Education & Development enquiries.
  • Supporting employees volunteers and managers to access training develop their skills and stay compliant.
  • Co-ordinating all our learning events and working closely with internal and external trainers.
  • Managing developing and maintaining our Learning Management System including uploading content updating records and producing reports.
  • Monitoring learning compliance analysing data and supporting our workforce with their compliance training.
  • Organising all logistics for training sessions including room bookings resources and technology.
  • Liaising with the Sussex Hospice Learning Hub to support shared initiatives and reporting and network collaboration.
  • Providing administrative support to the Learning Education & Development Group including agendas minutes and action tracking

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience as an L&D Co-ordinator
  • Confidence working with systems particularly a Learning Management System
  • Experience coordinating training events (virtual and inperson)
  • Strong IT skills especially Microsoft 365 and Excel with the ability to support colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident in analysing data producing reports and working with systems
  • A great communicator who builds positive relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive selfstarter with a continuous learning mindset.
  • CIPD Level 3 in L&D or interest in completing in the future
